After Microsoft unveiled its new “Your Phone” app at Build 2018 this week, Joe Belfiore, the new face of Windows 10 experiences sent out an equal parts confusing and cryptic tweet regarding Cloud Clipboard.
This release is massive, and packs plenty of new features and improvements, from enhancements to Sets, a new clipboard experience, a dark mode in File Explorer, and more.
More traces of Microsoft’s Cloud Clipboard more have been discovered the Group Policy settings for the Windows 10 Insider build 17643.
It’s been quite some time now since Microsoft publicly discussed the new Cloud Clipboard feature, but a recently published patent seems to reveal more about all the use cases Microsoft has in mind.
If the Windows 10 Cloud Clipboard functionality won’t ship with the upcoming Fall Creators Update, the feature is already present in the latest Redstone 4 build for Skip Ahead Insiders, though in a not functional state.
