Windows 10

Windows 10 is Microsoft's latest desktop operating system, first unveiled in September of 2014 and subsequently entering public beta testing in October of 2014. Windows 10 was released on July 29th, of 2015. Windows 10 is the successor to Windows 8.1, offering the return of the Start Menu, as well as various improvements throughout the operating system to blur the line between touch input and mouse/keyboard. The introduction of Universal Windows 10 apps, a virtual desktop system called Task View, Microsoft Edge browser, support for fingerprint and facial recognition, and new security improvements were just some of the new Windows 10 features.
