343 Industries and MLG today announced Seattle’s CenturyLink Field Event Center as the home for the Halo World Championship 2018 Finals. The Championship will run from April 13 to 15 and will feature 16 top teams and a one million dollar prize.

Microsoft is saying having the Halo World Championship Finals in Seattle will allow them to support “one of the biggest audiences we’ve had at a competitive Halo event.” The company will also work with MLG to help ensure the best experience for everyone watching in person and at home.

Tickets will go on sale Thursday, February 22, but the Halo World Championship already has kicked off with the HaloWC 2018 Orlando Open. This is the first open Halo tournament run by MLG in five years, and it is bound to be packed with excitement and intense moments. You can watch the action for yourself on Mixer, and Twitter Live to see who will bring home the $50,000 prize in this round.
