Shadow of the Tomb Raider possibly missing from Microsoft’s E3 presentation
The upcoming Tomb Raider video game, Shadow of The Tomb Raider, which was leaked several months ago, sounds like it might be absent from Microsoft’s E3 presentation according to a quote from Square Enix’s Meagan Marie which was posted on Facebook by a user who had apparently asked her directly about the game’s possible official announcement.
“This will be a quiet E3 for Lara,” Marie’s quoted as saying. “But we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year.”
Shadow of The Tomb Raider, if that is indeed the name of the new game, will be the third Tomb Raider title in the rebooted franchise. The second game, Rise of The Tomb Raider launched on Microsoft’s Xbox One several months ahead of other platforms and the series’ protagonist, Lara Croft, was heavily used in numerous Xbox promotions. It’s assumed Microsoft will also be heavily involved in the promotion of the third game but so far Microsoft and Square Enix have been very secretive about the game and its release date.
