Our own Arif Bacchus was in New York today, running our liveblog and capturing photos and videos from today’s announcements of Windows 10 S, Microsoft’s continued push into education, and the new Surface Laptop.

Here’s Arif with a demo of Windows 10 S, running on a Dell laptop:

Windows 10 S offers educators and others to run Windows 10 in a semi locked down state, able to only download and run apps and content from the Windows Store. This new version of Windows 10, which leaked out as “Windows 10 Cloud” some months ago, and will be shipping on the Surface Laptop, as well as being available for “upgrade” for free for anyone using Windows 10 Pro, a one-way process that will lock down educational or corporate machines to the Store.

We’ll continue our coverage of Windows 10 S, Surface Laptop, and everything Microsoft as more information becomes available, stay tuned!
