A new Microsoft Edge browser extension is now available called, Read&Write for Microsoft Edge. The extension is currently in a free beta for users to experience but will be given a price once the beta phase finishes. Here’s the official description:

Boost reading and writing confidence. Offer support for Word Online, web and OneNote to students with learning difficulties, dyslexia or ELL/ESL. Read&Write for Microsoft Edge™ offers a range of powerful support tools to help students gain confidence with reading, writing, studying and research, including:

Hear words, passages, or whole documents read aloud with easy-to-follow dual color highlighting
\
See the meaning of words explained with text and picture dictionaries
\
Hear text translated into other languages
\
Highlight text in documents or the web
\
Simplify and summarize text on web pages
\
Read&Write for Microsoft Edge™ is a user-friendly Microsoft Edge extension for use with all types of PCs running Windows 10. It works with web pages and common file types in OneDrive, including: Word Online, OneNote Online. Install Read&Write for Microsoft Edge™ to access ALL of these features as a FREE BETA.
