Microsoft’s Mixer game streaming service now supports 21 languages
Mixer, the game streaming service built-in in Windows 10 and the Xbox One OS now supports 21 different languages. The addition of more languages was “the number one piece of feedback we’ve seen,” the company explained in a blog post yesterday. “As a diverse group ourselves, ensuring creators and their viewers stay connected in their language of choice is important, no matter what country they’re from or the language they speak,” the team added.
Here is the full list of supported languages on Mixer: Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Danish, Dutch, English (GB), English (US, default), Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), Swedish, Turkish.
If you need to change your language from the default English option, you can do so by going to account settings and scroll to the bottom to find the new languages options.
The team also emphasized its “global growth” this year, and it will continue to listen to user feedback to prioritize new features. Do you use Mixer, and are you happy to see that the service now supports more languages? Let us know below.Further reading: Mixer, Video Games
