The release of the Windows 10 Creators Update via the Update Assistant tool is just two days away, and Microsoft is clearly getting things ready for the big launch date. The Redmond giant released today new cumulative updates for Windows 10 build 15063, further preparing Windows Insiders for the impeding release of the next major Windows 10 update.

Slow Ring Insiders, as well as Release Preview Insiders can now download the Windows 10 build 15063.13, otherwise known as the KB4016251 update. According to Microsoft, this cumulative update includes the same fixes from Cumulative Update 15063.11, plus two additional fixes, which can be seen below.

  • We fixed an issue where printer connections from clients running older versions of Windows (V3-XPS-based-drivers) failed to connect to clients running the Windows 10 Creators Update.
  • We fixed an issue where on some devices like the Surface Pro 3, the Windows audio device graph isolation would max out CPU utilization due to being stuck in an endless loop due to defective Realtek APOs.

Fast Ring Insiders, meanwhile, will see the Windows 10 build 15063.14, otherwise known as KB4016252. According to Microsoft, this cumulative update includes the same fixes from cumulative update 15063.11 AND cumulative update 15063.13. Other fixes can be seen below.

  • We fixed an issue where non-suspendable processes would suspend after waking a device.

The general April 11 rollout of the Windows 10 Creators Update via Windows Update is still about a week away, which means you eager Windows Insiders still have more than enough time to grab up the ISO’s for this build on the Windows Insider website, install, and submit feedback to Microsoft. As always, we wish you well in your downloading, and invite you to drop us a comment below to let us know how the install experience is going for you!
