As the Xbox One Fall update looms closer, Microsoft plans to add a wide variety of features to its console including redesigned Xbox Live Avatars, a major UI overhaul and more. Of course, expanding the reach of Xbox One to a larger audience could arguably be an equally important change.

Today, the Xbox Saudi Twitter page announced that the large Fall update will be adding support for Arabic.

“Arabic language is officially coming to Xbox next system update in the fall,” the tweet states. One of the reasons that this is exciting news is the fact Arabic is one of the widest spoken languages ranging from 290 million to 420 million native speakers.

As reported via an interview with True Gaming (via Windows Central) Xbox Vice President Mike Ybarra shared that Xbox Insiders can expect to see the Arabic language roll out “in the next couple of weeks.”
