New video shows Microsoft’s Surface Pen working on a Windows phone

It’s been common knowledge for a while now that Microsoft had been toying with the idea of Surface Pen functionality with their Windows phones and while a smartphone with Surface Pen compatibility was never released commercially, ProtoBetaTest has gotten their hands on a Lumia 950XL prototype that does. Take a look in the video below.

As you can see, the technology wasn’t perfected in this prototype and there’s a fair bit of latency however the concept is promising and it’s no surprise that Microsoft is rumored to be working on a new smartphone (possibly named Surface Phone or Surface Mobile) that will finally offer support to Surface Pen fans.
