Logitech today announced a sophisticated Logitech BRIO 4K Pro Webcam.  The webcam is unlike any other, and delivers the highest quality desktop video experience, Logitech RightLight 3 with HDR, 4K Ultra HD video quality, and 5X zoom, plus support for Windows Hello and other secure infrared-based facial recognition applications.

The Logitech BRIO is available for preorder today and business customers may purchase BRIO through the Logitech Video Collaboration reseller network, on Amazon.com, or on Logitech.com at a suggested retail price of $199 in the U.S. and €239 in Europe. If you were curious, the webcam sports a thick glass and metal body design, and thanks to RightLight 3 with HDR and 4K technology, you will experience a better video experience (and twice tthe resolution of traditional video) in low light conditions.

Additionally, with the BRIO’s infrared-based facial recognition, you can easily and ideally log into your Windows 10 PC using Windows Hello and just your face. In comments posted by Logitech, Matt Perry, partner group program manager at Microsoft described what the webcam means for consumers and enterprise users.

“Microsoft is pleased that Logitech has chosen to bring enterprise-grade security with Windows Hello facial recognition to the BRIO webcam, By qualifying BRIO with Windows Hello, Logitech is providing its consumer and enterprise customers with a Windows 10 login experience that is secure, password-free and seamless.”
