Microsoft’s Outlook app updates on Android with new spam filter option

Google Android

The official Microsoft Outlook app for Android devices updated this week to Version 2.2.74. In addition to the usual performance improvements and bug fixes, this update also added a new way to manage spam messages which can now be marked as spam and deleted from the spam folder with one tap.

Here’s the (very brief) release notes.

Mark messages as spam, and empty your spam folder with one tap.

All of our weekly updates also include performance improvements and bug fixes to make Outlook better for you.

Microsoft Outlook often receives small updates like this on Android but one of its more-impressive updates happened last month when it gained support for 10 new languages such as Amharic, Macedonian, and Norwegian Nyorsk.
