Today, Hulu updated its Universal Windows 10 app, which is available in the Windows Store. In February, Hulu became a Universal Windows 10 app and it is great to see how quickly Hulu updated its app for Windows 10 users. Hopefully, more apps will join Hulu as Windows 10 Universal apps.

Hulu is a subscription based service akin to Netflix that offers unlimited streaming of TV shows, movies, and original series content. Subscription plans start at $7.99 a month, with a SHOWTIME available for an additional $8.99 a month. Hulu’s Windows 10 app also features Live Tile updates on the latest shows and allows for Cortana integration to use your voice to search for content too.

Here’s what’s new in the latest update for Hulu on Windows 10:

  • Provide SW/HW DRM switching option in setting page
  • Fix the playback stuttering issue by SW DRM solution
  • App launching speed optimization
  • Cortana improvement
  • More general bug fixes

New subscribers can sign up for a free month of Hulu and decide if they want to continue through a paid subscription.
