This is the second week of new cars being released to the Forza Motorsport 7 Garage, culminating with a ginormous 700+ car lineup. Forza is calling this week Vintage Week for all the classic cars from the 1930’s to the 1960’s being released this week.

This week, Forza spotlights three vintage cars coming to the Forza Motorsport 7 Garage for Vintage Week:

1950 Alfa Romeo 158

Since 1913, Alfa Romeo has been building race cars. The 158, or the Alfetta for “Little Alfa,” as it is more commonly known, is one of Alfa Romeo’s best racing cars ever built.  The Alfetta won 87% of the grand prix races it competed in. The Alfetta is powered by a 1,479 cc supercharged straight 8-cylinder engine, pumping out 350 horsepower. Alfa Romeo used the 158 to win every race except for the Indy 500 during its post World War II debut for the Italian carmaker.

1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Gia was designed by Ghia, a renowned Italian design firm. Karmann coachworks commissioned to create a sleek sports car on a VW chassis. Thus, the 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was born, balancing power and performance into a beautiful sports car.

1953 Chevrolet Corvette

Microsoft, Forza, xbox

1953 was the first year of the Chevrolet Corvette. Europe produced almost all sports car and Chevrolet saw an opportunity to beat out Ford and produce the first American-made sports car. Harley Earl, General Motors (GM) design chief, pitched the idea of a “low to the ground, two-seat roadster,” after watching the European cars that raced at Watkins Glen.
The 1953 Chevrolet Corvette Driven uses a “Blue Flame” 160hp, 235-cubic inch in-line six-cylinder engine and two-speed Powerglide transmission. At the time, the only two available options for the Corvette were an optional heater ($91) or AM radio ($145). All 300 of the 1953 Chevrolet Corvettes that were produced, came with those two options standard and were quickly sold. Over the years, the Chevrolet Corvette has continued to shape the America racing landscape.
