HP continues to stay committed to their Windows 10 Mobile phones. The HP Elite x3 has just received its first update of the year, bringing it up to version 002.000.0018.0105.
As Neowin points out, this is the fourth firmware update since last August catering towards the Windows Mobile market and its users. Which is a definitely welcome sign compared to the steady decline of app and OEM support that has been dwindling for the past year.
There isn’t a changelog publicly available, as usual, but the report from Windows Central shares that the Windows Hello feels faster than before. They also suspect that the HP Lap Dock that experienced some out of the box issues will likely see a some under the hood improvements.
Usually, the firmware updates are minor performance updates and tweaks and can slip under the radar. We’ll keep you informed once we know more about the HP Elite x3 update. Until then, if you notice a difference with your device, let us know in the comments below or tweet us @OnMSFT
