The HP Elite x3 'Lap Dock' is now available to pre-order

Just on Monday, the HP Elite x3 officially became available for purchase at the Microsoft Store. If you're looking to expand your HP Elite x3 Continuum experience for your new device, however, you can now pre-order the HP Elite x3 Lap Dock at the Microsoft Store as well (via Windows Central.)

The Lap Dock is exactly what the name says, an accessory which looks like a laptop but works with the HP Elite x3 and Continuum. It is available for pre-order at the price of $599, and features a nearly borderless 12.5-inch diagonal LED-backlit Full HD display.

Integrated stereo speakers, noise cancelling microphones, and a Stereo headphone jack are also included on the device as well.  Of course, 3 USB type-C ports are also featured on the lap dock, with one being used for power, one for data, and the other for docking and charging the HP Elite x3. Lastly, the Lap Dock also features a 4-cell 46.5 WHr battery, Micro HDMI port, a touch pad, and a backlit spill-resistant keyboard with drain technology.

Do you think you will pre-order the Lap Dock to improve the Continuum experience on your HP Elite x3? Sound off and let us know what you think by dropping us a comment in the section below!
