Microsoft has started to roll out the Fall Creators Update to Windows Insiders on the Release Preview Ring, in the form of the Windows 10 build 16299.15 which was already available on the Fast and Slow rings. The announcements happens just a week before Microsoft starts shipping the major update to all Windows 10 users.

The Windows Insider team has updated its original blog post today with the following note, explaining why you Release Preview Insiders may not see the update immediately:

As part of final preparations for the general availability of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on Oct. 17th, we have begun releasing Build 16299.15 to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring. If you are in the Release Preview ring and don’t see this build offered yet – be patient as it will be rolling out over the course of the next few days to everyone in the Release Preview ring.

If the Fall Creators Update is now fully baked on PCs, we’ll have to wait a little bit more to see if the mobile build 15252 is the final build for Windows 10 Mobile users: this one is still only available for Fast and Slow Ring Insiders as of today, and we’ll see if Microsoft pushes it to Release Preview Insiders later this week.

Are you already running the Fall Creators Update on your PC? If so, how is your experience with the build 16299.15? Let us know in the comments if you’re encountering any issues with this build.
