Second Windows 10 Creators Update Bug Bash taking place in February

Today, Microsoft surprisingly hit everyone with yet another exponential Windows 10 Insider build, 15007, bringing a vast array of new features, improvements and fixes. In addition to announcing build 15007, Microsoft also took the spotlight moment to announce the second Bug Bash for the Windows 10 Creators Update.

This Bug Bash will take place in February, between Friday 3rd and Sunday 12th. During this time, the Engineering team will post several Quests for Windows 10 Insiders to be looking through and then sharing their feedback. Pieces of feedback submitted will be triaged and reviewed by the various Engineering teams within the company to resolve as many issues as possible. These fixes will then later be rolled out in a Windows 10 Insider build full of bug fixes.

Microsoft explained that they would have liked to have held a Bug Bash over the holiday season, however, due to employee’s taking their holiday and lacking many of the features that arrived in build 15002 and 15007, they decided to wait:

You all gave us feedback that you LOVED the last Bug Bash and wanted to do one during the holidays. We didn’t have the feature set we wanted in Insider Preview builds nor did we have the team available to help triage Feedback Hub items at that time so we decided to wait.

Continuing, the team aims to host a webcast where everyone can Bug Bash together. More details on this will arrive in the near future.

We are also planning at least one webcast so we can all Bug Bash together.
