In what seems to be a commonly sad pattern these days, the New York Times has officially dropped support for their Windows 8 and Windows 10 Apps (Via Windows Central.)
The word that the app no longer would function was first spread to app users over the weekend via an in-app message. Overall, the message pointed users to visit nytimes.com for a complete version of the New York Times and to visit the website to access the same content of the app plus interactive articles and expanded video features. Additionally, a FAQ Page also surfaced on the internet, which explained that support originally ended on June 30th. The FAQ also urges worried users, or those with other questions to contact customer support at [email protected] or by phone at (800) 591-9233.
Interestingly enough, the Windows Phone app is still available for download from the Windows Store. So, what do you think of this? Are you saddened to see support be dropped?
