Although Microsoft wasn’t in a red button pushing mood earlier in the week, things have warmed up and today we’re treated to two new builds, Windows 10 PC for Fast Ring Insiders build 16179, and Windows 10 Mobile for Fast Ring Insiders build 15205.

Microsoft is pushing deeper into Redstone 3 with the PC Insider builds, and you can expect that these early builds may be a bit rough, so you may want to hold off on running Fast Ring Insider builds on your main machine.

Windows 10 Mobile is a bit of a different story: last week Microsoft revealed that the builds have forked, with mobile on a “Feature2” track, while Microsoft works deep down under the hood on OneCore changes to the main builds. There is some confusion as to whether this is a temporary or permanent move, as some reports have quoted Microsoft workers as saying the move is only temporary, although there is nothing official other than what was posted in last week’s blog post.

In any event, we’ll have all the info on the new builds upcoming, but for now you can get to downloading!
