More evidence suggests Windows 10 version 1803 will be named “Spring Creators Update”

Despite Windows 10 version 1803 (aka Redstone 4) being in its final stage of development, Microsoft has yet to share the official name for the upcoming Windows 10 release. It’s quite unusual for the company to maintain the mystery this long, but we’re now pretty sure that Microsoft will settle for “Spring Creators Update.”

Last month, the “Spring Creators Update” naming was discovered in the Windows 10 Feedback Hub, though Microsoft quickly removed that mention in the app. Today, the naming was spotted again in the latest Redstone 5 build, which Microsoft released yesterday (via The Verge).

This is the first time the naming appears in the OS along with the Creators and the Fall Creators Update, so we hope to get an official confirmation soon. It will be the third time in a row that Microsoft uses the “Creators” theme for marketing a new Windows 10 release, even though there won’t be many new features for creators and digital artists.
