Hold your own viewing party for Minecon Earth, the 90 minute webcast coming November 18th

This year, the annual Minecon convention is becoming Minecon Earth, an interactive live-stream show for Minecraft fans accessible from anywhere in the world. The 90-minute livestream will arrive on November 18, and you will be able to watch it at home with your friends or join many viewing Party locations in the US and Europe.

"As well as broadcasting the show itself, there'll be prizes, giveaways, costume contests and, of course, plenty of opportunity to play Minecraft itself," explained Mojang today. You can even order Minecraft swag and hold your own Minecon party

The Costume competition is indeed returning this year, and three lucky winners will be invited to participate to the Minecon Earth broadcast. To participate, you'll have submitting a video of yourself in your Minecraft costume before October 22.

You may want to add the official Minecon page to your bookmarks to get more details about the event in the coming weeks. The livestream promises to be full of surprises, with Mojang teasing that "for the first time ever we’ll be giving YOU the chance to decide what goes in the game." Let us know in the comments below in you plan to join the fun on November 18.
