In a bit of a surprise move, the main focus of the Fortnite Crew Pack for January 2022 will be the game’s rising villain character, Slone.
Slone was first added to Fortnite’s evolving lore in Chapter 2 and was eventually unlocked as a playable character as part of the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass. At first, players assumed that she was an ally in the fight against the invading aliens in Season 7 but, during the finale of the same season, Slone betrayed all of the players and left them to die in an exploding mothership.
The character was last seen in the Chapter 2 Season 8 finale torturing Jonesy, seemingly confirming her new role as Fortnite’s true main villain going forward.
Slone’s new look that’ll be added to Fortnite next month is a separate outfit from the one given to Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass owners. Rather than the quirky suit and military looks, Slone will this time boast a wintery look more suited to the map’s current snow-covered climate. An orange alternate appearance is also included with the default white look.
Tundra tested and I.O. approved.

She’ll also come with the Snow Stealth Hardcase Back Bling, the Sleet Spike Pickaxe, and the Snow Stealth Wrap. Slone’s new look and associated items will be gifted to all Fortnite Crew subscribers with an active subscription in the month of January.
Players with an active Fortnite Crew subscription before January 6th will also receive the Midas-themed Golden Look Board Glider.
All Fortnite Crew subscribers in January will receive the usual 1,000 V-bucks in-game currency and access to the Season 3 Chapter 1 battle pass.
