The Surge and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham are now both playable as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, as its title suggests, is the third entry in the LEGO Batman video game series and features an incredibly large roster of DC Comics characters to play as in LEGO form. Green Lantern fans in particular will feel well-represented. The game supports local multiplayer for up to two players at the same time.

The Surge is a Sci-Fi action title with a strong focus on melee combat. The game came out relatively recently in 2017 and supports HDR10 lighting when played on an Xbox One X console.

The Surge and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham follow a number of new video games joining Xbox Game Pass this month. For The King went straight to Game Pass after it launched on Xbox One last week and was preceded by Tacoma, Surviving Mars, and Black Desert the day before. Earlier in May, Descenders, Wolfenstein II and Wargroove also joined the growing Xbox Game Pass library.

As per usual, all of these new video games take the place of existing Xbox Game Pass titles with 11 more games set to leave the service before the end of the month.
