The latest entry in the long-running Worms video game franchise, Worms W.M.D, is now available for pre-order on Microsoft’s Xbox One console. The game is very similar to previous Worms games but differentiates itself from its predecessors by including a large number of guest characters from other video game series in a special add-on called, the Worms W.M.D All-Stars Pack.
This Worms W.M.D All-Stars Pack adds a variety of special weapons and items inspired by other video game franchises such as the goat from Goat Simulator, the Dubstep gun from Saints Row IV, and Rocket League’s Classic Rocket League Car. There are also special guest star skins for the worms themselves inspired by series like Orcs Must Die and Yooka-Laylee, as well as unique missions based on The Escapists.
As a special exclusive to Xbox One owners, pre-orders of the add-on on Microsoft’s console will also get the special Rare All-Stars pack which includes Joanna Dark from Perfect Dark and a host of character skins from Blast Corps, Jet Force Gemini, Jetpac, Killer Instinct, and Battletoads.
