The latest free update for the Star Wars Battlefront II video game has begun to roll out to Xbox One consoles and it contains a lot more than players had been expecting.

In addition to the previously announced new map for Ewok Hunt and new A New Hope appearances for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo (see above image), this update is also adding the planet Felucia to the popular Heroes Versus Villains mode, the options to choose a faction and defend in the new Co-Op mode, a new appearance and icon for the Republic Jet Trooper, and new items and abilities for the Troopers and Ewoks in Ewok Hunt.

A large number of minor adjustments are also being made to weapons, gameplay, and heroes. They’re too numerous to mention here but you can read about them all in detail on this page.

Star Wars Battlefront II continues to add new content for all owners of the game to play on a monthly basis. Recent updates have added Felucia and Clone Commandos, new emotes and poses, and the fan-favorite Droideka destroyer droids while near-future updates will add a new planet, reinforcements, and appearances based on the new film, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.
