Star Wars Battelfront II video game on Xbox One

Star Wars Battlefront II’s community calendar for the month of October has just been released and there are quite a few surprises for players coming over the next few weeks.

In addition to the expected Heroes Unleashed event in the middle of the month and the Double XP events every Wednesday, Star Wars Battlefront II will also be getting a new map for the popular Ewok Hunt mode. This new map will be a revamp of the current Endor map but its addition is still surprising given the addition of the new Felucia map in September.

The new Ewok Hunt map will come as part of an update on October 23rd. Also included with this update will be new skins for Hero characters. New appearances for reinforcements have recently leaked from the PC version of the game so it’s possible that these will also be included with this update.

Star Wars Battlefront II October 2019 Roadmap

Details on the exact skins coming this month will likely be confirmed closer to the update date.

Here’s the rundown of the important dates for this month:

  • October 4-6th: Boots on the Ground event (No heroes or vehicles in GA and CS modes.)
  • October 11-18th: Community events for previously announced Luke skin and Maul emote.
  • October 18-20th: Heroes Unleashed event.
  • October 23rd: Game update with new Endor map, skins, fixes, etc.
  • October 23-31st: Halloween Double XP event.

Star Wars Battlefront II launched on Microsoft’s Xbox One console almost two years ago and continues to receive frequent content updates which are free for all owners of the game. While a smaller update is expected for November, a much bigger one will likely drop in December or January to tie into the launch of Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker with a new map and several new skins inspired by the movie having already been confirmed.
