Windows Vista, a short-lived operating system, is coming to the end of its life. It officially reaches End of Life on April 11th, at which point all support for the operating system comes to an end.

Those who wish to continue to receive support from Microsoft and its partners, as well as software vendors, will need to upgrade to a newer edition of Windows, such as:

  • Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (extended support only)
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 10

As part of Windows Vista reaching End of Life, Ubisoft has also announced that its Uplay PC client will cease support for the operating system.
