The official Microsoft Power BI app updated to Version 17.1 this morning on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch.
This latest update restructures several features with the aim for improving usability for its users. Here’s the official release notes with the changes made:
- When you receive a link in a report that has an active URL filter (query string) applied to it, the report will open pre-filtered.
- Copy report data also available for iPad. When you tap ‘Show data’ on your device to see the numbers behind your visuals, you can now copy the table and paste it wherever you want.
- We now use phone report layout, when it exists, for displaying reports on your tablet in portrait mode.
- Reports using the new ‘modern visual header’ will no longer allocate space for headers, resulting in less empty space and more room for your visualizations.
Microsoft Power BI is a service designed for business users for viewing and managing data. Android and Desktop versions of Microsoft Power BI are also available as is a web version.
