The highly anticipated follow-up to LEGO Marvel Superheroes, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers launches today on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. This latest LEGO videogame promises to feature even more characters than any previous LEGO game while also incorporating characters and story elements from Marvel’s TV shows and movies. Join the LEGO® Marvel’s Avengers team and experience the first console videogame featuring characters and storylines from the critically-acclaimed films and more. LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is available as both a regular and Deluxe Edition on Xbox One. The Deluxe Edition contains everything the regular version has but also includes a season pass for future downloadable content (which can be bought separately if needed).

Also out today on Xbox One is the pre-order for the special edition of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat XL. Like the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Deluxe Edition, Mortal Kombat XL features the same content as the regular version of Mortal Kombat X but also comes with a host of downloadable content (DLC). The DLC packed in with this XL version contains past extras such as the Predator and Goro characters and extra skins as well as a host of new DLC. Here are the official details:

One of the best-selling titles of 2015 has gone XL! Komplete The Mortal Kombat X Experience with new and existing content. Includes the main game, and new playable characters the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface, Tri-borg, and Bo’Rai Cho. Previously released playable characters include Predator, Jason Vorhees, Tremor, Tanya, and Goro. Also includes new skin packs Medieval Pack, Apocalypse Pack, and a new environment, the Pit Stage. All previously released skins packs included. Two new character skins. The Cosplay Pack reimagines Mortal Kombat X characters Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs as Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu Ninjas.

Mortal Kombat can be purchased and downloaded onto Xbox One consoles today but the game won’t be playable until March 1st.
