It’s Friday folks! That means we get to take a look at what was announced as coming to Microsoft 365 all week. Let’s dive in!

Advanced Virtual Appointments in Teams Premium

The feature tagged 98188 in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap will provide an end-to-end solution that is in place to help users provide better customer experiences and operational excellence for business-to-customer engagements. Among them is Custom Branding which will provide external attendees with a first-class experience as well as Individual and Departmental Analytics. The preview will begin rolling out in December and is expected to hit general availability by mid-February 2023.

Delete or rename files in a channel and in your OneDrive folder in Teams

You will soon be able to delete or rename files in a channel and in your OneDrive folder in Teams by navigating through the files tab, then scrolling through the list and selecting the file you want. And finally, tap on the ellipses and select the option you want. The feature is expected to hit general availability towards the end of this month.

Roll Out Updates

The roll out time for a couple of features has also been updated. For instance, the capability to Assign Seats in Together Mode has been delayed for Government customers. Microsoft has further indicated that it will communicate when ready to proceed.

Next Up

Next up, the ability to Automatically view up to 49 videos (7×7) in Teams meeting roll out time has been updated and is now expected to reach general availability by mid-December. In other related news, Teams meetings is set to support 2×2 Gallery view for Firefox users.
