Converge app for Windows Phone adds more news sources and various improvements in latest update
For those of you who enjoy reading our articles on your Windows Phone device thanks to the Converge app, you will be pleased to know that there is a new update in the Windows Phone Store. Converge is our 3rd-party Windows Phone app and you can head over here to read why.
In the latest update, which bumps the version number to 18.104.22.168, Converge adds the ability to view videos from all news sources. The app also features performance improvements and bug fixes. On top of that, the app adds the option to view content from TechCrunch and The Next Web, two big names in the tech industry. These two names join WinBeta, WPCentral, and The Verge (who actually decided recently to kill support for mobile apps — so support for The Verge might not be a long term thing).
Fear not, if you just want to see news from WinBeta, simply uncheck the other sources. The app supports a dark and light theme, as well as Disqus comments. There is even a Live tile so you can see the latest news right on your home screen.
