Real Madrid, Microsoft branded tablet now available in Spain

If you like Real Madrid, personalized gear, and Microsoft tablets you’re in for a treat. A new tablet with Microsoft and Real Madrid branding is now available. Unfortunately for fans of the famous football club, the tablet is only available for purchase within Spain.

There were initially reports that this was a Microsoft made tablet but those reports have been shown to be incorrect. A Microsoft spokesperson told us “the device is being offered by an OEM in Spain, and Microsoft and Real Madrid are the featured brands.” We didn’t receive any clarification as to which OEM produces the device, but we know that it isn’t produced by Microsoft.

The tablets starts at €199 and for €50 you can have your named etched onto the back of it.

Windows Tablet Edición Real Madrid name

It’s called the “Windows Tablet Edición Real Madrid.” Here are the full specs as found on Phone Arena:

  • 8.9 inch IPS display with 1920 x 1200 resolution
  • Quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor
  • 5MP rear camera
  • 2MP front camera
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB of expandable storage
  • 233.2 x 148.2 x 8 mm
  • 369 grams
  • 6700 mAh Li-Po battery

The tablet also comes with a one year subscription to Office 365 and the first one hundred buyers will receive an invite to visit Santiago Bernabeu, the stadium of Real Madrid.
