Today Microsoft has released another new Windows 11 Insider build for the Dev Channel, bumping the build number up to 25140. This latest build, which includes ISOs that you can download and clean install, doesn’t contain any new features, unlike the recent additions of Tabs for File Explorer, for example.

However it does contain one new item under “changes and improvements,” the edition of an updated Euphemia font, which is used for Canadian Syllabic script. The new build also includes a number of fixes, including no longer setting the Arabic keyboard where English (New Zealand) was selected in the OOBE (out of box experience, the initial setup).

There are still a number of know issues, including Surface Pro X users hitting a black screen when returning from Hibernate:

You will need to power cycle (long power button shutdown) to get back into the device. It is recommended Insiders on these devices pause flighting until we release a build with this fix.

Other known issues includ a misaligned up arrow in the File Explorer tabs, if you have them, Widgets preferences unexpectedly resetting to default, and live captions not being visible in certain apps in full screen (for example, video players).

No word in this blog post about a continued rollout of File Explorer Tabs – if you’re a Dev Channel Insiders, did you get updated to Tabs in this latest build?
