Earlier this year, Xiaomi and Microsoft partnered to bring Windows 10 Mobile to select Xiaomi users as an experimental program. The folks at Xiaomi also confirmed that it’s not something that will allow you to run multiple operating systems on the device, but it will be a ROM which Xiaomi users can flash on their devices and get the taste of Windows 10 Mobile on their handsets. The ROM was even later released for a select users with Xiaomi devices so they can test it.

If you’re in the possession of a Xiaomi Mi4 LTE, there’s a piece of good news for you. Recently, the company’s co-founder posted on Weibo about the launch of the of the ROM, which is set for December 3rd (via Windows Central).

This is definitely a good news for users who are interested to give Windows 10 Mobile a go on their Android devices by simply flashing a ROM instead of buying a new device. We’re hoping Microsoft will bring the ROM to more devices, some which are more mainstream.
