Today Microsoft has updated the Skype UWP Preview app via the App Store on Insider versions of Windows 10. The update means that Windows Insiders can now send group messages, as well as make group audio and video calls.

In the new version of the UWP Preview app, Windows Insiders can now see up to four video images at once and also chat with your group to keep the conversation going via group instant messaging. Additionally, Insiders can also mark any person or group as a favorite. Typos and auto correct in mind; the Skype team also has updated this version of the app by adding the ability to edit and delete messages to manage embarrassing typographic errors.

As much as the update adds, it also removes the Skype integration in the Messaging app on Windows 10 Mobile, to streamline and simplify your experience.

So, after you update, it will be best to stay tuned to us here at WinBeta for the latest Skype news. The Skype team will also soon be releasing a Skype UWP Preview app for mobile devices, and you will not want to miss it when it happens.
