Microsoft has just updated its Movies & TV app on Windows 10 Mobile bringing the app up to version 3.6.1299.0. The update includes “minor bug fixes and improvements” with the biggest change being that the app defaults to Standard Definition (SD) when a user downloads a video.

The updated was posted by a member of the Movies & TV team, Ellen Kilbourne, on Twitter. Kilbourne goes on to encourage users of the Movies & TV app to post feedback in the Windows Feedback app, on UserVoice or in-store reviews.
Windows 10 Mobile hasn’t yet been released so you need to be a Windows Mobile Insider to use the Movies & TV app for mobile. This app update for mobile devices follows a recent update to the Movies & TV app on Windows 10 showing that the team is working hard on a unified Windows video experience. If you’re a Windows Mobile Insider and want to test out the new changes, either check for updates in the Store or use the link below.
