Microsoft Teams app updates on iPhone and iPad with new audio and video settings

The iOS version of the Microsoft Teams app updated to Version 2.0.1 earlier today. This new update is quite small but does add some new functionality that may be appreciated by some users such as the ability to swap between videos and content during a meeting and the new mic and speaker audio setting.

This update also includes the usual ambiguous bug fixes and performance improvements.

Here’s the full release notes:

  • Switch between content and participant videos during a meeting
  • Mute mic and speaker by default when a meeting room is nearby and joined into the same meeting
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

Microsoft Teams is an increasingly-popular collaboration tool for groups using Office 365. More organization are switching to the service every month and a new mobile phone even has a dedicated Microsoft Teams button.
