Microsoft is rolling out its Fall Xbox beta update a lot sooner than was expected and this beta update is giving testers new features such as Internet Explorer 9. Aside from IE9, the beta comes with a faster and larger dashboard.

The new Xbox dashboard feeds faster and larger than before. The new update comes with a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 and allows users to load between the desktop and mobile version of webpages. Apparently, the browser doesn’t come with tabbed browsing. IE9 on Xbox supports HTML5 video. Interested beta testers were able to signup for this update but Microsoft soon after closed the registration. So for now, those wishing to have this update will have to wait a little while longer.
