Microsoft and InMobi, a provider of enterprise platforms for marketers, announced they have entered a strategic partnership which will help InMobi in pushing mobile marketing. The partnership will see InMobi move to Microsoft Azure, and take advantage of the power of Microsoft’s intelligence capabilities.

Thanks to the partnership, InMobi will expand its platform for marketers via the InMobi Marketing Cloud, scheduled for a sequential worldwide launch over the next six months. Both Microsoft and InMobi will also be working with each other on a go-to-market approach, with Microsoft offering integrated advertising and marketing solutions to its enterprise client base. Per Microsoft, there are goals for “accelerating the way marketers are looking at their advertising and marketing strategies in an always-connected world.”

In the words of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella:

“As digital technology is transforming every industry and every aspect of our lives, companies are seeking new ways to engage customers where they are, with connected, personalized experiences…The combination of Microsoft Azure with InMobi’s marketing platforms will deliver new intelligent customer experiences and business insights to organizations around the world.”

Microsoft and InMobi are also looking to combine the power of InMobi’s Advertising and Marketing Cloud capabilities with Microsoft Dynamics 365.  “InMobi is building one of the most advanced enterprise platforms for marketers, and we’re extremely excited to partner with Microsoft as we dive into the next frontier of connected devices,” ended Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO InMobi.
