Actual images of Lumia 850, aka Honjo, have leaked online via a Chinese website. According to a rough English translation, these images could be of the Lumia 850 or Lumia 650 XL, but the source post also reveals that the display is 5.4 inches, so that certainly rules out the device being the Lumia 650 XL.
The Lumia 850 leak shows some revealing information about the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile device. The Lumia 850 is sporting a gold-metal frame, as well as the appearance of an Iris scanner in the upper right-hand corner; likely for Windows Hello support.
There is a USB port on the top of the device and a 3.5mm jack on the bottom. Although the USB port does not appear to be a USB Type-C port, that may only be because the device is a prototype and is in no way representative of what the final configuration for what the Lumia 850 would've been.
This Lumia was supposed to be a mid-range Windows 10 Mobile device, but Microsoft decided to scrap its release at the last minute. There have been a number of leaks about the Lumia 850, aka Honjo, for some time now, but these are the most credible photos we've seen so far.
Onleaks (@Onleaks) was first to release Lumia 850 images, followed by another Windows Mobile leaker, Evan Blass (@evleaks), and numerous other rumors. The Lumia 850 looks like a great device, even though there is no dedicated camera button. It just seems to be a shame that the Lumia 850 will never be released.
