Huawei starts shipping its MateBook Windows 10 tablet in the UK, starting at £749.99

Last month, Huawei’s Surface competitior, the Huawei MateBook became available for purchase in the United States. Today, Huawei has announced that the device is now available in the United Kingdom (via Neowin.)

Unlike in other world markets which have a black colored model and the Intel m7 processor, a gold version of the Huawei MateBook will be available in 13 different retailers around the country. These locations include:

Curry’s Stratford, Oxford Street, Aberdeen 2in1-HS, Cardiff, Canary Wharf, Manchester Arndale, Bluewater, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Bath, Brighton, Manchester Trafford, Edinburgh Princes Street, Tottenham Court Road.

The MateBook will be priced at £749.99, with the higher end Core m5 version priced at £999.99.  Key specifications on the device include the fact that the device packs Intel Core m3 6Y30 / Intel Core m5 6Y45 processor with 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage.  The 12-inch IPS TFT LCD display with 2160x1440px resolution, meanwhile, is powered by a 4430mAh battery. A USB 3.0 port, and support for Bluetooh 4.1, USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac is also included.
