Since Microsoft released the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update last month, we’ve already seen four Insider PC builds hit the Fast and Skip Ahead rings. The last Redstone 4 build for PC was released just yesterday, bringing minor improvements to Microsoft Edge and the Windows Shell.

Unfortunately for Windows 10 Mobile users, it seems that there are no more mobile Insider builds in sight. Actually, it almost looks like you should leave the Windows Insider Program to keep receiving new builds on your phone: last week, the cumulative update build 15254.12 rolled out to mobile users on the production ring, and this latest update has yet to be pushed to Fast Ring insiders.

Last month, many Twitter users asked the Windows Insider team if there would be any more Insider builds for mobile going forward. At the time, Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Program Manager on the Windows Insider Program said that “we plan to keep releasing new builds for Mobile,” without explicitly mentioning Insider builds. Yesterday, LeBlanc was asked the same question over again and tried to clarify, referring to previous statements from Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore.

If we already knew that Windows 10 Mobile will be supported until December 2019 at least, we still don’t have a definitive answer about new Insider builds for mobile. In the meantime, it’s probably best to just leave the program if you want to receive monthly cumulative updates.

Since build numbers started to differ between PC and mobile earlier this year, it became clear that the Windows Insider Program would become PC-focused going forward. Microsoft has moved on from Windows 10 Mobile, and at this point, it would be really surprising to see any new mobile Insider builds.
