Fifteen years ago, Microsoft launched the original Xbox console on November 15, 2001 along with Halo: Combat Evolved, a science fiction shooter which went to become one of the most successful Xbox exclusive franchises to this date. In last week’s Halo Community Update, the team over at 343 Industries teased what the game studio is planning the do to celebrate fifteen years of Halo.
If you’ve been a longtime Halo fan, get ready to discover “some incredible content to help celebrate this huge milestone” during a Twitch webcast that will kick off at approximately 3:43 p.m. PST tomorrow:
During the jam-packed show we’ll have a special walkthrough of the Halo Museum, talk Halo Wars 2 with Dan Ayoub & Max Szlagor, hear about some of the team and community’s fondest Halo memories, play Halo 5 with fans, talk HCS with Tashi & Strongside, take a look at the upcoming Halo Loot crate with James, answer your tweets and whatever else we end up doing when we inevitably stray from script.
If you haven’t done it yet, we invite you to subscribe to the Halo channel on Twitch and you can also join the brand new Halo Club on Xbox Live which is managed by 343 Industries. While we’re just a few months away from the release of Halo Wars 2 on Xbox One and Windows 10, feel free to share some of your dearest Halo memories over the last 15 years in the comments below.Further reading: Halo, Halo Combat Evolved, Halo Wars 2, Halo Waypoint, Microsoft, Xbox, Xbox One
