Chuwi isn’t a company most people are familiar with, but these guys recently had an 8-inch Windows 10 tablet on sale for less than $100. Chuwi is now working on a larger, 12-inch tablet that not only runs Windows 10 but Android too (spotted by Liliputing).
The Chuwi Hi12 is expected to be released this month and features a 12-inch screen, 2160×1440 display, 4GB of memory, and an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor. The tablet dual-boots Windows 10 and Android, and has 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that expands up to 128GB of storage. The tablet also features an 11,000 mAh battery.
For all your camera buffs out there, this device features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The tablet will be available in champagne gold (as pictured) or space grey. Pricing details have yet to be revealed but given that its younger brother was on sale for less than $100, we don’t expect this tablet to cost that much.
