Mixer’s new auto-hosting feature is now live for Partners and those with verified accounts and is expected to roll out to all users in the near future.

Auto-hosting has been a popular feature on Mixer’s video game streaming rival, Twitch, for a while now and it has been an often-requested feature by Mixer streamers. The feature essentially allows channels to be active 24/7 by automatically hosting/broadcasting another live channel from a customized list.

In addition to keeping channels active, auto-hosting can also improve the discoverability of smaller channels when they’re hosted.

Auto-hosting was one of many changes coming to Mixer that were announced recently. Other changes include the reduction in price for Embers, new icons, and a revamped Xbox One experience.
