Xbox E3 briefing scheduled for Monday June 13th

Xbox’s Larry Hryb, otherwise known as Major Nelson, announced in a blog post that Microsoft will be holding its E3 2016 briefing on Monday, June 13, 2016. Beginning at 9:30 AM PDT, Microsoft will take a look at previously unannounced game trailers and other upcoming games and features on the way for Xbox One.

The Xbox E3 Briefing will be streamed via the Xbox Twitch Channel, the Xbox Live Events Player on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles, or at your any local Microsoft store. Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2016 briefing will also be broadcast on Spike TV.

Major Nelson will be hosting the special Xbox event broadcast with Graeme Boyd, Xbox Live’s Acey Bongos, and a number of game industry insiders and special guests. The one-hour Xbox Daily: LIVE @ E3 will air on Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. PDT, and can be streamed live on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox.com, and on the official Xbox Twitch Channel. If you are broadcasting the show via your Xbox One, you’ll be able to take part in polls and other interactive experiences during the live broadcast.

This year, Xbox is partnering with Twitch to bring gaming fans wall-to-wall coverage of the entire week of E3. Go behind the scenes, catch the latest announcements, and watch the best Xbox games in real-time. You’ll be able to watch everything on the Xbox Twitch channel from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, June 15, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT on Thursday, June 16.

For those in the Los Angeles area, Xbox will be giving 500 lucky fans free tickets to Xbox FanFest: E3 2016. Xbox FanFest: E3 2016 is from Monday, June 13, to Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Tickets to the event include:

  • Entry into the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Monday, June 13th, 9:30 a.m. PDT at the Galen Center
  • A custom-built backpack filled with gaming swag
  • Play time with all-new exclusives and our biggest blockbuster games coming this holiday
  • The chance to meet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.
  • Even more surprise events during the week
