While we told you last month that a Universal Windows Platform USPS app is now on Windows Store, we can now also report that 17TRACK is getting ready to release a Universal Windows 10 app to track parcels. The announcement of the development of a UWP Windows 10 app was made on the app listing in the Windows Store.

As of today, the app description hints at the UWP app release and reads,

Due to technology reason, we will not be able to update this WP application. Tracking of your parcel & package may be failed during this period. We will redo a new application for WP users which will bring to you a more morden & user-friendly app in coming future. Right now, we are waiting for WP 10 to issue completely. Meanwhile, please try out our website at www.17track.net it’s completely mobile compatible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

This appears to be good news for folks who want to track packages from all sorts of shippers from all sorts of countries. It also, however, may hint at the developer’s commitment towards delivering a Windows 10 app. Either way, we have included a download link to the old version of the app below, so be sure to check it out and let us know if you will be checking out the UWP version once it hits the Windows Store!
