Discover lesser-known Xbox One video games in Instant Indie Collection 3

Game publisher, Curve Digital, has just released a bundle of three new Xbox One video games developed by indie game studios. Called, Instant Indie Collection: Vol. 3, the bundle contains the games, Action Henk, Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure, and 10 Second Ninja X.

Action Henk is a 3D platformer racing game set within a child’s bedroom (not unlike the Toy Story movies). Players can race against friends in local multiplayer and unlock special bonuses after reaching certain milestones. Here’s the official game description for Action Henk:

Run, jump and butt-slide into the glorious toy-filled world of Action Henk! Become a master of momentum and defy physics as you race against a band of ragged 90s action figures! The game challenges players to shave milliseconds off their times by running, jumping and butt-sliding with 5 playable characters across over 70 challenging levels in a game which revels in almost sonic speeds.

Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is a bizarre twist on dodgeball that supports up to two players in Story Mode and four in competitive multiplayer. The game features a range of creative characters to unlock and play as and many of the game’s rules can be customized. Here’s the official game description:

Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is an over-the-top action sports game with a strong resemblance to dodgeball. Stikbold is a glorious and intense sport, which will surely put your friendships to the test with fast-paced, hard-hitting and occasionally hilariously unfair gameplay. Go on an exciting co-op adventure through the charming story campaign, or test your skills against friends and family, in the definitive battle of the living room. Be victorious or go out with a BAM!… and have your revenge from beyond!

10 Second Ninja X is a 2D action platformer set within a world of pirates and flying ships. The game contains over 100 levels to complete and boasts a simplified retro art style. Here’s the official game description:

10 SECOND NINJA X is a blisteringly fast, overwhelmingly intense action game. The nefarious Captain Greatbeard has kidnapped you and trapped your forest friends inside of his army of robots like some kind of psychopath. Greatbeard doesn’t think you’re the fastest ninja who ever lived – he is WRONG. Destroy all of Greatbeard’s robots in each level in ten seconds or less. Be fast enough to get the coveted three star rating in each.

All three video games can be bought separately but when purchased as part of the bundle, the overall price decreases by almost a third so is highly recommended for those Xbox One owners who think they might want to play them all now or sometime in the future.
