Remember the Xbox One Slim that we were talking about a few days ago? Turns out it's real, and better yet, you can look at it right now. An image of the console leaked on NeoGAF just a short while ago, and it seems to be pretty legitimate. The console follows the design pillars of the Xbox One to a tee while cutting down on size and making everything look generally sleeker.
According to the leak, the Xbox One Slim also comes packing a few hardware upgrades.
- 2TB Hard Drive
- 4K capable video
- Higher Dynamic Range
- Improved controller
- Vertical stand
These are some pretty solid improvements, to say the least. The Xbox One Slim more than doubles the best version of its predecessor in storage space, supports gorgeous 4K visuals, and the addition of an improved capability for dynamic range in a game's audio is going to really add to a gamer's experience, whether they truly notice it or not. Slap in a better controller and a stand for ideal shelf-placing capabilities, and you've got yourself a very promising console. Let's hope this leak ends up being trustworthy.
